Halcyon House The Halcyon House occupies a prominent position within this imposing terrace, the oldest in Europe. On the slopes of the Calton Hill, following onto the Queens Park, we are situated in the eastern side of New Town, only ten minutes walk from Princess Street, the Scottish Parliament, St James Centre, Meadow Bank and Waverley Station. The Water of Leith, Botanic Gardens and Scottish Parliament are also nearby.
